Josefine is a multidisciplinary young artist from northern Germany, where they feel rooted. To broaden their own perspective which is shaped by their upbringing between wide flat lands, swamps and forests they spread their wings and aim to explore spaces and areas which were hidden to them. Multiple are the impressions of this world and similar various are their artistic expressions. Their main focus lays on sculpture - they created tents/caves out of solid (metal) structures and fabrics as places for contemplation, rooting and presence in a societal flood of distraction - and film. It is possible to watch their documentary movie about women (+queers) and cars (Hit Back The Road, 2023) online and they feel happy to share it with whoever is interested. At Casa Snowapple Josefine dives into an imaginary story written by hand and finds out what a stolen prince, a mermaid without fishtail and a horse from ashes have to tell about connection and love.
